Body Release Therapy is an innovative way to transform physical posture by releasing connective tissue and tight muscles in the body. Fascia is a web of connective tissue that wraps within and throughout the entire body; it weaves through bones, muscles, and organs, sliding between individual cells to provide structural support to the body. Fascia holds us together. Due to postural patterns and physical trauma, fascial tension can increase in certain over-worked areas of the body, which then restricts the exchange of nutrients to and from cells. The build up of tension and cellular waste causes neuromuscular pain, which can travel from the origin of tension to many other areas of the body as supporting muscles attempt to compensate for those restricted by lack of circulation and tight fascia. The BRT technique uses therapy balls to massage and release tension from the myofascial web, improving circulation through the cells and tissues and allowing proper hydration and detoxification of the cells.

Using BRT we can help to release all these tight, sore spots in the fascia while strengthening the muscles using Yoga allowing the body to live up to its full potential for strong and natural movement.

This is a style of yoga that links the breath with a continuous flow of postures, focusing on both strengthening and stretching the muscles of the body and mind. The intention is to simultaneously build a strong foundation while exploring your own personal limits breath by breath, ultimately increasing overall flexibility in body, mind and spirit.

We can make this Yoga practise a flow or power style vinyasa depending on how much you want to move, if you want to slow down and hold your asanas longer or move through a stronger practise we can tailor this class just for you!

Kundalini involves dynamic movement, meditation, mantra, and specific breathing patterns or exercises, which together provide a more energetic experience and balance the spiritual and physical bodies.

Kundalini uses different kriyas to help clear out the chakras and awaken kundalini energy all while building strength throughout the entire body, it uses a specific pranayama; breath of fire throughout to bring this whole yoga practise together.

The goal of kundalini yoga is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness while teaching you to go within, to feel your body and shift your energy.

Restorative yoga focuses on shifting the nervous system from the sympathetic, the active “fight or flight” mode, to the parasympathetic, the “rest and digest” mode. The practice itself offers a safe and supported environment in which the parasympathetic nervous system can function to release stress and rebalance the entire body. In particular the practice does not involve stretching but often includes props to aid in supporting and relaxing the body.

Why not infuse this amazing restorative yoga class with Reiki Energy Therapy, as we guide you throughout your yoga practise we will use this Ancient Japanese Healing Therapy to bring life-force energy to your whole chakra system. Allowing you to deeply revitalise your whole mind body complex on a deep level.

Yin yoga focuses on the connective tissue, joints and the meridian lines in the body, your meridian lines are energetic pathways that Prana or Qi flow through, they influence every organ and physiological system in the body. If a meridian is imbalanced by a block with the flow of energy, the system it fuels is jeopardised. Their flow is as important to the body as the flow of blood for a healthy body, we have twelve major meridians and they are in control of not only their corresponding organ but additional organs around them

We rebalance and unblock the meridian pathways with Yin Yoga using passive deep stretching and long holds, usually between two to five minutes. Unlike Vinyasa Yoga, Yin encourages relaxing the muscles rather than engaging them in order to access the deeper tissues.

A guided practice of meditation and relaxation is the pathway to Yoga Nidra, that is, yogic sleep. This practice allows the body to deeply rest and heal while accessing the subconscious mind. Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness which is neither sleeping nor waking, but rather the awareness of the profound relaxation inherent in the deep sleep state. Yoga Nidra is practiced in a supine resting pose, savasana, allowing the body to find complete stillness and comfort.

Try Yoga Nidra with our amazing Sacred Cacao to really facilitate a deep and profound experience.

Is very simple; simple does not necessarily mean easy.

Meditation is a technique through which we may sharpen the tool of the mind. When we go beyond the mind and experience our essential nature, as pure conscious awareness, we experience Ananda, Bliss. The mind is undisciplined, and unruly—it has a mind of its own—which is why we often end up wrapped up in fantasies and daydreams instead of stillness and true meditation, dhyana.

In true meditation, as we calm ourselves and let go of biases, we begin to see things as they are, without our expectations and judgments. In a state of pure awareness, we see that our minds and our bodies are in fact incredible tools for our own growth and expansion. And we see that we are much more than the sum of our minds and our bodies; and through meditation we learn to skilfully wield these tools to systematically explore our inner dimensions.
